Education
The ASF was formed in 1989 to promote the development of securitisation in Australia. It does this through the education of government, regulatory and other authorities, the public, investors and others with an interest or potential interest, both in Australia and overseas, in the benefits of securitisation.
All programs offered by the ASF have been designed by individuals that are experts in their field and they are intended to be relevant and practical for all those working in the securitisation industry in Australia.
Until the global financial events of 2007 onwards, the Australian securitisation market enjoyed rapid growth. However since its peak, in 2006, the impact of the global market conditions has considerably reduced the volume of Australian securitised products. The ASF Education Committee is committed to ensuring that appropriate training continues to be made available to market participants throughout this period of uncertainty.
Participants have a choice of three education programs:
- Securitisation Basics Workshop
- Securitisation Professionals Program (Diploma Qualification)
- Advanced Securitisation Workshop
